Ned Reid is a Senior Creative Director for CNN Creative Marketing. He and his partner oversee a team of talented creative and marketing directors, art directors and designers, writers/producers and leverage external agencies to conceive and produce innovative advertising for original series, films, daily news shows, and specials for CNN, HLN, CNN+ and digital properties Underscored and CNN Audio. Ned has worked for CNN for over 20 years. He has been in several roles inside the company: assistant editor, compositor, designer, and design director. He has been a part of tremendous change at CNN and worked on several projects that have redefined the brand. He worked on refining the iconic CNN Logo with the design director and a slew of designers around the company and helped launch CNN brand campaigns Go There, Why We Go, and Facts First. He has won many awards including Promax, Clio and an Emmy for design and creative direction for CNN Original Series The Sixties, Race for the White House, This is Life with Lisa Ling, Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, The Seventies, Soundtracks, Searching for Italy with Stanley Tucci, Lincoln: Divided We Stand and CNN Films Blackfish, RBG, Three Identical Strangers, and CNN specials like New Year's Eve with Anderson and Andy

Ned is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Mass Communications and minors in History and Philosophy. He studied abroad at the University of Oxford in England. He began his career working for Crawford Communications as an assistant editor on the show Hercules, Xena, and Space Ghost Coast to Coast.
